Mococa
A quieter beach with more open water. Worth going by car; a good way to escape the crowds.
Serramar
A water park in the region; a good option with children or on a rainy day.
Best months
April to June and September to November usually have good weather, pleasant water and fewer crowds. December to February is high season: busy beaches and heavier traffic.
Getting around / Uber
Uber and 99 work in Caraguatatuba, but availability drops at night and out of season. If you are coming back late, request ahead of time.
